Atrium on bay

Over 1 million square feet of modern downtown office and retail space in three towers, with a stunning central atrium. We're open for business.
Atrium on Bay is squarely at the centre of Toronto's downtown renaissance. Directly connected to the best choices in retail shopping, a wide array of dining choices, numerous entertainment venues and multiple routes of access from non-core locations, and now owned by Hines, a global presence in corporate real estate properties, we are fast emerging as an exciting story of opportunity. Swing by. Look around. You'll see a story unfolding. You'll see an energized neighbourhood, teeming with people and alive with opportunity. You'll see change all around, as one of Toronto's most famous intersections undergoes a complete make-over. We're part of that story. You could be too.

The Building
The Atrium is centrally located in the hub of Toronto's downtown north area providing over 1 million square feet of office and retail space with connection to the city's financial core through the PATH walkway. The spectacular atrium, from which the property draws its name, extends the full height of the building, flooding natural light from the skylight roof into the interior offices and retail shops below. The property has recently undergone major renovations to the office and retail areas as well as upgrades to the lobbies.

In 2007, Hines REIT acquired Atrium on Bay, a 1.1 million-square-foot mixed-use complex in Toronto’s Downtown North submarket. It was acquired from a joint venture between Brookfield Properties and The Ellman Companies. The complex contains three office towers, a two-story retail mall and a two-story parking garage. Located on Bay and Dundas streets, the property is situated directly above one of Toronto’s busiest subway stations and is adjacent to Toronto’s largest mall, a 23,000-student university and a seven-hospital campus. The three office towers contain approximately 913,000 square feet and are eight, 13 and 14 stories, respectively. The retail mall contains approximately 142,000 square feet. Atrium on Bay was developed in the early 1980s, and was renovated in 1999 and 2000.
