 Operating Principles
Our pursuit of superior service and quality over the last 3 decades has concentrated in two areas. We have implemented systems to meet ISO 9001-2000 Quality Standards, achieving registration by the Quality Management Institute of Canada in 1996. Also, to attain our goal of continuous improvement, we approach training as an ongoing process. Our operators are continuously upgrading their skills and learning new technologies to be able to tackle the most challenging job.
At Ontario Chrome, we have established and maintained long-term relationships with our customers, the community where we work and the environment in which we live. We feel that environmental protection does not just end at compliance legislation. By investing in new technologies and systems designed to exceed regulations, we strive to do our utmost to minimize any impact our processes may have on the environment. Our environmental system was successfully registered in October of 2002 making us the first company of our class to achieve ISO 14001 registration in Ontario. Also in 2003 a state of the art chrome exhaust system was installed to meet the new federal guidelines for chrome emission and passed inspections with a performance surpassing the requirement by almost three times.
As a division of Quadraspec Inc., a network of companies in Montreal and Sudbury, Ontario Chrome is a specialized chroming and grinding facility located in Oakville, Ontario. Ontario Chrome has been resurfacing machine parts for service providers in the steel, printing, and construction industries in the Southern Ontario market since 1971. We have alliances and exposure to high end markets including Aerospace which gives us an edge when it comes to providing solutions to our customers. We have earned a reputation for being one of the most reliable shops in our field of expertise.

We are committed to the promoting the sustainability of our products, processes, and services through: maximizing the effectiveness of our quality control systems; the reduction of risk and employee exposure to health & safety hazards; the prevention of pollution; and continuous improvement of our overall management system performance, as an integral part of our continuing business operations.
We ensure, as a minimum, that the quality, environmental, health and safety aspects of our products, processes and services are in full compliance with relevant and applicable legislation, customer requirements and other standards to which this organization subscribes.

Compliance with such standards, and continual improvement of our operations, relies on effectively planned, managed and monitored systems, along with the setting of appropriate and achievable objectives and targets. The framework for achieving and reviewing our stated objectives is our Integrated Management System. Quality, environmental and health & safety objectives will be established for each relevant function and level in the organization, measurable and consistent with this Integrated Management System Policy.
We promote quality, environmental, and health & safety awareness amongst our employees who are expected to adhere to the policy set by this organization. All employees are responsible, through their adherence to this policy and relevant system procedures, for ensuring customer satisfaction, pollution prevention and promoting a clean, safe and healthy work environment.
