 Toronto Para Transit together with its sister company Wheelchair Accessible Transit Inc. owns and operates a fleet of 40 wheelchair accessible vehicles in Toronto and the surrounding areas. Currently, its fleet provides contractual services to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) through Wheel-Trans; The Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic School Board, transporting children with physical disabilities; and the Worker's Safety and Insurance Board transporting disabled workers.

Toronto Para Transit also provides accessible transportation to the public in general. These services are all managed though a central state-of-the-art dispatch and GPS system.
Its vehicles ar all late model Chrysler, Ford, and GM converted mini vans and meet all federal, provincial and municipal standards for transporting individuals with disabilities.

All of TPT's drivers are professional,courteous and all are required to go through extensive training courses. As well, they undergo an additional training course mandated by the Municipal Licensing and Standards Licensing Unit - Training Section of the City of Toronto. This training consist of awareness and sensitivity training and proper techniques for transporting persons with disabilities and persons with mobility devices. The training courses are updated on a regular basis to continuously improve the performance and skills of drivers.

Airport trips
 After submitting the request, you will contacted by one of our customer service professionals. All details will be confirmed and your order will be booked. The cost of the service will depend on the destination you will be going to. In addition to the rate for the trip, there will be a $10.00 compound fee that is collected to the compound run by the Federal Government. This fee is only when picking up from the airport. Drop off to the airport have no compound fees.

When arriving at the airport please follow the instructions as to where you are to wait. Depending on which terminal you arrive at, there is a different waiting area:

* Terminal 1: On the arrivals level, near the Taxi/Limo stand. Walk across the platform and find the sign that reads "Ground Transportation" (or a D1 sign) and advise them that you are waiting for "Wheelchair Accessible Transit".

* Terminal 2: In the interior corridor there is a large overhead sign that reads "Pre-Arranged Limousines". This is located between post 21 on the loading platform. Inform the Commissioner that you have a prearranged vehicle in the compound waiting for you from "Wheelchair Accessible Transit". The Commissioner will then call out the vehicle to you exact spot.
* Terminal 3: In the middle of the terminal on the loading platform, there is a large overhead sign that reads "Pre-Arranged Limousines", just inside the door is a small desk where a Commissioner sits (post #23). Inform the Commissioner that you have a prearranged vehicle in the compound waiting for you from "Wheelchair Ac
