We have dedicated the last 25 years exclusively to the comprehensive management of Acne Vulgaris and Rosacea. Our patients range in age from 8 to 80 and we are quite pround of our achievements in this field.
We are extremely proficient in the use of all topical and systemic therapies and our "hands-on" approach includes, where appropriate, such physical modalities as cryotherapy, comedone extractions, as well as intralesional corticosteroid injections. As well, we provide education related to general skin care and cosmetic selection.
Please set aside approximately 40 minutes for your initial appointment during which time we obtain your medical and dermatological history as well as details of any previous Acne Treatment.
You will then be counselled on various aspects of skin care and your questions will be answered.
The physician and nurse will then carefully examine your skin using magnification in order to assess the extent and severity of the acne and any associated scarring, pigmentation, and irritation.
An individualized treatment plan will then be formulated based on all the information that has been gathered.
Until the acne is mild and well controlled, frequent followup visits will be arranged in order to assess compliance, tolerance, and efficacy of the treatment.
Once you become a registered patient of our Clinic, highly trained staff are available to answer any questions that may arise.
We also welcome patients who are seeking a second opinion with regard to their current acne treatment.

# Acne medication in sample sizes are usually available for trial use before a prescription is given.
# A portion of your consultation is covered by OHIP, so please bring your OHIP card. The Toronto Acne Clinic charges $25.00 for the initial office visit and $10.00 per visit to cover uninsured acne services.
